PGS

Scandic Fusion has been our partner on DWH, BI & related components since this was first established in PGS several years ago. The original implementation was running on an on-prem application stack the first years, with new sources from several different technical platforms being added over time. With the advancements in cloud technology, it was decided to make the move and take advantage of these possibilities. A full lift-and-shift of complete architecture was successfully performed, using Google Cloud Platform and Power BI cloud native components only. This dramatically increased the data usage in PGS, while reducing outage risk and maintenance cost. Through the numerous projects we have cooperated on, Scandic Fusion has been advising on architecture, doing much of the project coordination including liaising with business users, in addition to performing the majority of the development work.
