Project initiation
The phase begins with initial project setup that includes establishing and getting acquainted with the vision, roadmap and goals, project team and establishing methods of cooperation and governance. Furthermore, focus will be to address and validate the key functional and technical aspects to arrive at best practice and guidelines to be used throughout the project from data integration and model perspective to reporting needs. We aim to be super transparent and open, and encourage the participants to share their opinions, concerns, and important aspects for them with regards to the upcoming initiative.
Implementation activities
Implementation is ongoing from the project start until the user acceptance tests are over. The project team, which typically is a healthy mix of functional and technical experts as well as architects, works in a structured manner, guided by the business processes and the project plan. Team members are constantly in touch with each other and the relevant parties on the client’s side.
Regular status meetings
Periodic status meetings and reports - both operational and (depending on the project size) with a steering committee - are a great way to keep pulse on the progress, discuss any changes in circumstances and navigate the project process to achieve the best outcomes.
Testing and deployment
As soon as a specific module/part of the scope is developed and the preliminary testing from the project development team is successful, we aim to get the solution in the hands of the business as soon as possible. Nobody knows a company's data better than people who work with it every day - we are eager to hear their feedback, iterate and improve our deliverables. Data models that are ready and evaluated will be delivered to production.
Training and documentation
The value of whatever we implement correlates with how many people are able to use it. Thorough solution documentation, power user trainings and common workshops on best-practices are an integral part of every project to achieve knowledge management across company, user engagement and customer self-sufficiency in performance management and data analytics solution development and support at a desired level.
Learning and improvement
Reflection and transparency are good not only at the beginning and in the process, but also at the end. We want to look back and learn - hopefully together with you - so our next project we can be even better. We continuously support on enhancements making this a long-term partnership.
